The Unites States as been conducting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2001. That's 15 years! Suicide in the military has soured since 2005. Suicide rates continue to climb, despite 900 prevention programs offering help. Mental health rates have risen 65% since 2000 with over 936,000 troops being diagnosed with at least one mental health issue. Soldiers are experiencing deep internal anguish and pain, chronic sadness, and desperation and they see no way out. Alcohol, drug abuse, bouts of rage and anger, divorce, isolation, as well as homelessness await those who try to manage it alone.
But through REBOOT Combat Recovery, combat veterans and their families are experiencing breakthrough in their war against PTSD. REBOOT’s faith-based combat trauma healing course is designed to address the spiritual wounds of war. At REBOOT locations across the country, combat veterans are healing, divorce rates are dropping, medication abuse is decreasing and suicide numbers are being reduced.
Reboot Combat Recovery provides a spiritual component missing from many of the other programs for veterans. We realize that the human person is one psychosomatic spiritual whole and that combat wounds the mind, the heart and the spirit. Combat leaves a moral and a spiritual wound that must be healed.
We are committed to work with our veterans to help them overcome their challenges. We offer Reboot as well as Spiritual Direction and Pastoral Counseling and care for our veterans. We want to bring healing of mind and soul as well as restoration to the families of our veterans. Some veterans may need a "search and rescue" action to help them get the help they need. They may be desperate, acting out and unwilling to come in for help. Pray for them. Tell them about us. Call us. 603-332-4121.
The course is open to spouses, as we recognize that they also bear the burden of recovery. We also accept first-responders and those who work within the veterans community. We offer child care and dinner is provided. The course is FREE.
