On June 12th the Rev. Matthew Mirabile was officially installed as Rector of Trinity Anglican Church at a special service at 9:00am by the Rt. Rev. Brian Marsh. Fr. Mirabile had begun his tenure in mid April and this was his official institution. A special Brunch, hosted by the St. Anne's guild, was held directly after the service. Everyone had a great time and the church had an opportunity to meet Fr. Mirabile's wife, Inger, and their three sons (their adult daughter, who lives in Atlanta, was unable to be there).
Fr. Mirabile was a resident of Fairfield, CT since 1992 and has been a priest since 1995. He served as a missionary Church Planter with the Charismatic Episcopal Church, and was Provost of the Cathedral Church of the Resurrection, Anglican Catholic Church under the Rt. Rev. Rocco Florenza. Since both the ACA and ACC are in the process of formalizing "Communio in Sacris" his orders were easily transferred. Fr. Mirabile had also served with Youth With A Mission when he was in his twenties and has done missions work in East and West Africa, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. With a wealth of experience in working with people who suffer from addictions, Fr. Mirabile is an asset to our community and is eager to get involved. Trinity Anglican Church is glad to have a new rector and looks forward to many years of meaningful ministry to our community.
